Seeking volunteers involved in flight training

Our team is actively seeking aviation professionals involved in the flight training process to help us develop a streamlined method of presenting the Flight Training process to future airmen. This ‘portal into aviation’ aims to layout and explain the flight training process in it’s most basic form. Our goal is to give the visitors to this website the option of exploring the possibility of pursuing the FAA’s Private Pilot License (ASEL) while browsing for more information on The Hope 100 endurance flight.

After hearing feedback from many pilots on how they initially sought information on becoming a licensed pilot we found that the flight training process can seem overly-complicated at first glance. We fear that genuine interest in learning to fly can become lost in the complex cross-referencing of information on the topic and this may impede potential flyers in taking the next step.

We intend to provide a one-stop portal that presents flight training in simplified steps and then links to appropriate sources for further information on each step. It is the belief of The Hope 100 team that visitors to this website will come here because they find themselves curious about the adventure found in aviation that our flight intends to showcase. We expect that many intrigued visitors have not have considered that the path to become a licensed pilot may be a possible for them. We would like to change that.
